Hatchery strains of brook trout have been widely stocked in Georgia. However, we consider the southern strain of brook trout to be native to Georgia. Records represent all known occurrences and may not reflect current species distribution.


Basin Distribution in Georgia:

In Georgia, occurs in the Tennessee, Coosa, Chattahoochee, and Savannah River basins.
