The flathead catfish is considered introduced to that Apalachicola, Chattahoochee, Flint and all Atlantic slope drainages.


Basin Distribution in Georgia:

In Georgia, occurs in the Tennessee, Coosa, Chattahoochee, Flint, Satilla, Ocmulgee, Oconee, Altamaha, and Savannah River basins.
