Notes:

The striped bass is native to Atlantic and Gulf slope drainages, but is introduced to the Tennessee drainage. It was historically native to the upper Coosa drainage, however, current populations result from introductions of Gulf and Atlantic forms.


Basin Distribution in Georgia:

In Georgia, occurs in the Tennessee, Coosa, Chattahoochee, Flint, Ochlockonee, St. Marys, Ocmulgee, Oconee, Ogeechee, and Savannah River basins.
