Lepomis miniatus X L. punctatus integrade
Specimens of spotted sunfish examined from the Tennessee, upper Coosa, Tallapoosa, Chattahoochee, and Flint River systems have been classified as integrades between Lepomis miniatus (to the west) and L. punctatus (to the east).

In Georgia, occurs in the Tennessee, Upper Coosa, Tallapoosa, Chattahoochee, and Flint River basins.
