Notes:

The most recent documented wild sturgeon in the Coosa system in Georgia occurred in the Oostanaula River basin in 1980. Two previous record in the Oostanaula River basin occurred in 1959 and 1962. One documented record for the Etowah River occurred in 1949. Since 2001, Wisconsin lake sturgeon have been stocked in numerous localities in the Coosa River system.
